Rangewood Ranch recontructed wooden windmill at sunset.

Rangewood Ranch reconstructed wooden windmill at sunset.

Rangewood Ranch is a beautiful rustic setting for photo shoots and filming.  The ranch is nestled in Tijeras Canyon along Historic Route 66. The options for natural backdrops are endless. The west portion of the ranch is completely open with gorgeous views of the city and the evening sunset. The rest of the property has views of mountains, hills and lots of greenery along the Acequia which lines the southern property line.  Snow capped mountains and hills in the winter or stunning yellows, reds and oranges in the fall when the foliage is changing colors.  The scenery from the ranch is stunning any time of the year. Rangewood Ranch is also home to a 100-year-old reconstructed, working wooden windmill on the western edge of the property.  Pair the windmill with a beautiful New Mexico sunset and your photo or film will be breathtaking.  The lower levels of the property are covered with old cottonwood trees that are full of character and old charm. As well as a river with ponds.  Rangewood Ranch supports the New Mexico film industry and has a room full of old western and farm props, set decoration and production design to rent. The Ranch also has many more outdoor moveable props as well, like an authentic moveable 1920’s saddle house.  Add a few or all to your commercial, photo shoot, or film.

The Ranch is available for half day and full day rentals. Contact Rangewood Ranch for details.
