“Rangewood Reclaimers is amazing!  We were in search of a great piece of wood for an mantel for my parents house and we came across the site for vintage pieces.  We called and Steve was absolutely awesome to work with.  When we described what we were looking for, he immediately noted that he had just the right piece and he was correct.  My dad was born and raised in NM and knows the history of the Barker family and Elliott Barker who cared for Smokey Bear so he was very excited to learn that the mantel came off of the S. Omar Barker Pole Barn where Elliott nursed Smokey back to health.  Steve was very knowledgeable and energetic which made the entire process very enjoyable to Paul and I.  Our trip was supposed to be a quick out and back, but we spent over an hour sharing stories and learning some cool history with Steve…a trip that turned out forming a great friendship!  Many thanks to Steve for making us feel right at home!  We would highly recommend Rangewood Reclaimers for helping preserve history and keeping the stories alive!  Thanks again for everything!”

“A big thank you to Steve Huchting and his crew, in removing an old cabin on my property in Greer, AZ. These guys are organized, professional, competent and quick! When the job was completed, there was no evidence that the cabin had even been there.

I would recommend Rangewood Reclaimers to anyone interested in the removal of vintage or antique wood. I was most impressed in that Steve was interested in the history of the building which he passes on to the new owners of the reclaimed wood. Steve and his organization are doing a great job in reclaiming a part of Americana and keeping it alive.”

“This mornings shout-out is to this amazing company Rangewood Reclaimers. We had an old 50-60 year old barn that became very dangerous with sheets of tin flying off when it got windy. This friendly and easy to work with group of people came in and took it down within 5 days. They save the salvageable wood and tin and resale it to people who want something unique for a project or their homes. When they left it was raked and all the nails were picked up. I am so impressed with them! They stayed in tents behind the house and were self sufficient, respectful and tidy. They even invited us out one evening for taco night at their camp. I would recommend them for any project. If you have an old building you are wanting to be taken down please reach out to Steve.”
